"It may have been a sorry burnout".
What the heck kind of statement is that from an a-hole announcer?

I ride a ‘99 VL 1500LC great bike and a third of what a Heritage would cost but I’m thinking of renting a Road King to see how it feels even if I won’t spend that kinda cash...

I had a 1988 vl1500. Good bike, but I tour in the summer. 700 mile days are common. The Glide and the Concours are my faves. Glide for slab and Connie for the twisties.

I’ve never seen a Powell on the road, even at vintage events. I think I saw one at that AMA museum in Ohio.

You have to be easy on the throttle with the liter plus sport bikes. Fortunately, the Concours is toned down a bit. I hardly ever get past 4K.

My son restored this Whizzer many years ago and rode it until it blew a head gasket. He has a gasket kit to repair it but he is side tracked with his 59 ElCamino and his recent purchase of a 96 Impala SS...

This is the Powell just as I purchased in 1970 and it had a current registration in Calif. Photo in 2008...

Here it is 95% restored...
