After 41 years, South Korea is retiring the last of its 222 F-4D Phantom fighter-bombers.
The South Koreans still fly F-4Es.

Ive always liked F-4s. Hard to believe they were designed back in the 1950s. Ive always wondered why they decided to make the horizontal stabilizer droopy like that.
Not only do they droop, but the airfoil is upside down

Randy "Duke" Cunningham became an ace flying an f-4 against MIG 17s and 21s in Vietnam. It seemed to be capable enough for him.
Bunch of Israelis became aces flying the F-4 as well. Many flying against the same kinds of aircraft that the US was facing in Vietnam (or even more advanced aircraft).
