Thank you very much for posting this historical perspective. Not surprisingly, most Americans have short memories. I recently watched a YouTube video - a British reporter interviewing New Yorkers on 911. When asked on what date this attack occurred, NOT ONE of them cited September 11! When asked who lead the attack, given 3 different options, surprisingly many of them said Hindus.

It is truly a sad state of affairs in our country when people cannot recall the worst attack on our nation, much less the date. Then again, the government has not done anything to encourage them to remember. Below is a link to that video.
