The vast stimulus bills were a total hoax.The stimulus has succeeded brilliantly. It and other "emergency" spending bills have lined the pockets of democrat constituencies with over a trillion dollars. That was the purpose. Nothing else.
These people are looters. Grab as much as you can as fast as you can, and the devil with tomorrow. Given the chance they will do to America what the UAW did to GM.

Tremendous tax cuts and deregulation.
Clinton: Jan 93 to Dec. 2000, 22.8 million jobs
Relatively tax neutral, large spending cuts and entitlement reform after 94.
Bush 43: Jan 2000 to Oct. 2008, 4.4 million jobs
Tax cuts early. Even with 9/11, the ensuing 2 wars, Katrina, and the mortgage meltdown, even Bush created jobs.

Tge "detoxification" is going to be hard as these parasites are defunded.

What he meant to say is that:
We, the liberals, progressives, socialists, don't know how to recover all the jobs lost.
Which just means what we've known to be true historically: socialism just kills jobs and has no way of restoring whatever was lost.
If the government just got out of the way of the free market, we no doubt would be well on the way into a full recovery within five years and then some.
