Collectively, the four skimmers can take up to 146,000 barrels per day.”

If the oil doesn’t spread out to much for them, no?

As a small business owner, I had to immediately deal with various problems that came up.

Even I, knew that this was going to become an even larger problem if obambi didn't take immediate action. With all the skimmers around the world and with all the countries who quickly offered their help, I would have said thank you and here is your check.

I really can't believe that he has yet to waive the Jones Act. Yes, I know, he finally accepted some of the Dutch offer. Still, as a small-time CEO, I would have jumped on ANY idea or offer that could minimize the damage. In the Navy, it's called "damage control". You react quickly to minimize further damage. Just commonsense, actually.

Now there is this offer which should be given every priority and monies possible to get it out there and do its thing. Obambi can spend trillions on crap but won't expedite this?

Only peaceful passage is allowed 200 miles out in the Exclusive Economic Zone.

Any other usage requires a permit. That would include cruising by to scoop up oil.

This is the Law of the Sea stuff.

This article was the first I've heard of this vessel. Curious how many others had not heard of it.

Now..Kevin Cosner and his tiny machines which will sit on the decks of tiny converted fishing vessels....he's the savior of the Gulf according to the media.

If that storm don't take a hard left turn the oil from that blowout will cover every part of the coast from Galveston to Key West with crude,,,

That is what the Obamites have been stalling for. He allegedly played basketball, and they've been running down the clock waiting on hurricane season.

If the claims for this vessel are acurate it appears the administration is commiting a high crime for not letting it be approved for skimming operations.

Just getting back to the computer. Don’t know if PBS had it pulled...but the La. woman’s name is Kindra Arnesan. Maybe if you search her name in Youtube, there are other videos posted. Also maybe in a google search.

And I appreciate the comments from others letting me know the Rules of the Sea. Didn’t realize it went out 200 miles.

Since BP/government are not doing much, maybe folks could go out there anyway and do clean-up. Probably wouldn’t see any BP people for miles and miles.

Notice the super skimmer is still not on the approval list

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2544019/posts

Also notice Obama approved the use of skimmers that use a boom just when a storm is about to come in they will have to wait until the storm passes.

If they try to skim without the Emperor’s blessing (or Union approval) he’ll have the Navy blow it out of the water.
From what we understand there is a complete ban on any press or civilian photography on over or around the gulf, and anyone caught trying to photo or film there can be arrested and have their gear confiscated.

The Gaza blockade runners will have gotten off easy by comparison, but don’t hold your breath for any “international outrage” when the Obama / Union thugs start beating, abducting, shooting or sinking anyone who really tries to clean this thing up beyond the current theatrical pretensions.

TANKS a bunch,Steve,,,

The last I heard there are 12’ waves in the Gulf,,,

They have Skroooed around so long I doubt anything can

be done till the storm passes,,,

The eye-strike looks like it will hit the Texas coast near

the border at CAT-1 or 2,,,(so they say),,,

Hopefully it won’t stall like Audry did in 1957...

Here is the video you are looking for, Cedar. The guy who posted it claims it is his so it won't disappear unless Youtube pulls it.

BP Oil Spill: Kindra Arnesen Venice LA Needs to Evacuate

If you haven't seen this, George Varnum, it's worth the fifteen minutes IMO. It seamlessly supports what you are saying.

I should have added, that BP is no longer in charge of the clean up, the Coast Guard is in charge as they should have been from day one. That is the biggest failure of the Obama administration, not putting the Coast Guard in charge of the clean up from the beginning.

The incident command agreement states that the federal government has a 51% control of who and how the spill gets cleaned up. It was obvious from day one that BP would be too busy plugging the well to do a good job of the clean up. Right now, BP is just paying the bills and they are doing a great job of paying. They are sparing no expense.

Joe Biden showed up at the spill head quarters today and slowed down the whole works. It took about an hour for the secret service to clear the room before Biden arrived and then more time for him to come in and pretend to be concerned and thank every one for the job they were doing.

interesting video until the end when she says it will destroy all the oceans of the world. It sounded like a joke.

She’s the wife of a fisherman. Did you expect her to end with an oceanographic analysis based in physics and zoology? lol
