It would seem unconstitutional for the feds to boycott a state. The State should withhold all income tax revenues by stating all persons owing federal tax should remit to the State.

Both sides have their heels dug in. Even if the courts rule for AZ, the government will just slow walk really securing the border.
I think it will come down to AZ forming some kind of state border patrol. Maybe take detained illegals to border crossings and tell them to leave.
Then the real fireworks begin.

Back in the 1970's, when Jimmy Carter I imposed the 55 mph speed limit, he threatened to withhold highway funding from states that refused to comply. So, it's no wonder that Jimmy Carter II is doing this.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has raided a sanitation business in El Mirage and neighboring Youngtown northwest of Phoenix.
The Sheriff’s Office said deputies began serving search warrants early Friday at Parks & Sons sanitation of Sun City.
The search warrants are based on anonymous tips from current Parks & Sons employees.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio told reporters the company was under investigation for eight months.
A total of 40 people are being checked for their immigration status and whether they used false identification and Social Security numbers.
The company’s Web site says it’s provided impeccable service to customers in the West Valley since 1964.
There was no answer at the business Friday morning.
Lucky Arizona, I wish every Federal agency would boycott my state. In fact I think they should shut down all there offices and move all their employees out. Ahhh, we can dream can't we...
A dozen more raids like this could scare the Dickens out of contractors who favor hiring illegals throughout AZ. The more publicity the better, IMO.
The state must give it before it can be withheld. The fed had best keep it's mouth shut about "withholding" funds.
This isn’t a boycott. It is a meeting between delegates from the US, Canada and Mexico. Mexico is pissed at Arizona right now, so doesn’t want to meet in Arizona. So they move their conference. Big deal.

Right now, the governor of Arizona could do two things that would really slam the brakes on both illegal aliens and the drug trade.
This is to put the AZ National Guard on the border, and set up Joe Arpaio-style tent jails for any illegals they take up. Since ICE is refusing to take them, or will “catch and release” them, Arizona can hold them there for identity processing, then have a judge try and sentence them to remain in the tent jail. Or AZ will pay to have them flown to Mexico City, 1400 miles away.
She is hesitating in doing this only because it would cost money. But she and the legislature could do a quick poll, and pass a popular State sales tax to pay for it, even though they just raised the sales tax by one cent. The public would be happy to pay for it, if it will shut down the border to illegal traffic.
Useful idiot voters are deathly important to a failing president.
The failing President has to be impeached for the sake of the USA
