Uh huh....Unless your near the epicenter....Then many think the world is coming to an end. A 5 can be quite violent near the epicenter.
And I thought the sofa rumblings were from last night’s Chili with beans . . .

Same story here in Southern Ontario- most quakes felt here are very far from the epicentre (today’s was north of Ottawa). I didn’t notice today’s as I was on the freeway at the time, but friends of mine felt it. The last time I felt a quake her was a small jolt that originated somewhere in PA or OH about 6-8 years ago.
I was looking for this elsewhere and couldn’t find. Judging from the spread of this relatively minor EQ, I’m guessing it’s correct.
What source did you locate for it?
