Probably would be the case in every state.
But politicians dont want balanced budgets...they want votes.

“Libs hate numbers because it ruins their fantasy.”
You are right here, and that’s probably why there won’t be a federal budget this year.

The minimum cost of $1.1 billion per year to the Colorado budget due to illegal aliens is double the current Colorado budget deficit of $560.7 million. If illegal aliens left the state of Colorado, this $560.7 budget deficit would turn into a surplus of about the same amount. One suspects that the percentage of Coloradans in favor of enacting an Arizona-style law would be even higher, if these figures were widely known.Deport them all.

Libs hate numbers because it ruins their fantasy. The accounting equation is an absolute B!+ch for Dem/Socialist.
They violate it while exposing us to ":Moral Hazard" i.e. CRDA and Fannie and Freddie and by looking the other way essentially to the unfunded liabilities of illegals living here.
Numbers destroy their arguments of their great society visions and what they think they are entitled too.
A great example is when the UAW leaders had a major sit down with former GM CEO Rick Waggoner about 18 months before GM went belly up. They were given the full masacree and they come out of the meeting saying nothing and looking very grim by press accounts and the pictures I got to see.

States should sue the federal government for the costs attributable to illegal immigrants. The federal government’s failure to enforce its own immigration laws is is the primary factor in most states’ budget deficits.

Now run those numbers in California. Operating deficit, $5 billion. Cost of illegal immigration, $10 billion+
Indicated surplus, $5 billion+

As I was driving home last night, I saw two trucks with Illinois license plates, loaded down with what looked to be all their worldly possessions. The drivers and passengers all appeared to be of Mexican descent and appeared to be driving south...hopefully BACK to Mexico. Just the threat of immigration enforcement causes illegals to self-deport. If more states follow Arizona’s lead, we will have far fewer illegal aliens to deport.
Texas State Rep. Burnham out of Tyler has said he will introduce an Arizona-style immigration law for the Texas Legislature’s next session. Gov. Goodhair may not like it, but ask any tax paying Texan and they do.

This sign--more than anything---has turned the tide against illegals.
Especially among people suckered-in by the "here for a better life" scam.
Reconquista shock troops at Phoenix Capital protest, May 29, 2010.
Why didn't Calderon whine about that when he addressed Congress?
Guess he knew he would not get a standing ovation (/snix).

I want to send this to some of my friends in Colorado, but this link isn’t working.
Thanks,
