I don’t think Obama is out of touch, or oblivious to the peasants like Marie Antoinette. That’s like saying the average Third World ruler who lives in opulence while his people live in squalor is ignorant of his people — he is not. The Third World ruler knows his people very well - it is not because the ruler is oblivious to them that he carries on the way he does.

Obama’s core of support in the United States is essentially a Third World demographic - a combination of socialist intellectuals and ignorant, indoctrinated masses who vote for racial reasons or to feed at the government trough.

The only problem is Obama may have narrowly miscalculated on the numbers - absent amnesty and voting rights for the tens of millions of foreign nationals here illegally, he may be just shy of having the numbers to win elections and at the same be so brazen about the nature of his regime.

"their president ought to have a little time to clear his mind."

Unlike the president of B P I guess

Obama spends more play time than work time.. of course that could be good for the country ...

Yeah, if he would just resign, he could have PLENTY of time to himself, and we would all benefit from that!!

Do we benefit when he eats Wagu beef?

good point. Hope he eats extra arugula for me. I can't stand the stuff.

I wonder if Jon Stewart will do a segment on this - it's tailor made for comedy and Stewart has been brutal on obambles lately. I wonder if his boss is one of the media moguls taken to the WH woodshed last week and told to COOL IT with the obambles bashing...ala Pravda.

We should hope that he plays golf more often! That way, he won’t be in there making terrible, destructive policy! Look on the bright side! LOLOLOL

“Why can’t I just eat my waffle?” April 26, 2008
THAT WAFFLE WAS MORE SIGNIFICANT THAN YOU MIGHT THINK The above quote and the waffle remark are both telling us the same thing: That Obama has difficulty keeping up his “nice guy” image. Keeping it up quite simply wears him out. It is not who he really is so keeping up that image tires him and he just HAS to rest from it. It is not who he really is. http://dissectleft.blogspot.com/2008_04_20_archive.html
He HAD to have a rest from acting. Even back then - the Obama we saw on the campaign trail was just a false front for the very dismal soul that lies beneath it.

There is no bigger douche bag in the country than this guy Bill Burton. He was on TV constantly during the 2008 campaign and always came across as an arrogant, liberal, Obamabot jackass! He may even be more annoying than Robert ‘Mrs Doubtfire’ Gibbs and that is really hard to do!

"the leak is the first thing on his mind every morning and the last thing on his mind before he goes to sleep at night"

Except for golf, travelling, campaigning, his daughters (he once said THEY were the first and last thing...), state visits, appeasing our enemies, denigrating our country, subverting the Constitution, bowing before dictators, ignoring the will of the people, etc...etc...

In order to clear your mind, don’t you first have to have one? Empty spaces don’t need clearing.

“Burton said that having time to himself “probably does us all good.”

Yeah right....and I should tell my boss that I need more time for myself as this would do the firm loads of good.

These people are delusional.

But they have to spin as the now public perceived view of Obama as a lazy incompetent rapidly expands.

"OMG, how out of touch these people are. "

I guess Obama never heard of going to church or connecting with God to help clear one's mind.

"the leak is the first thing on his mind every morning and the last thing on his mind before he goes to sleep at night"

In fact, I believe the actual quote was: "Taking a leak is the first thing..."

I agree. He is more worried about the next party and campaign trip than he is about anything related to the matters at hand. Maybe they meant to say ‘he’s more worried about TAKING a leak...’ The only good thing about his frivilous travels are that he’s not at the office doing more damage.

The President’s spokesman rips the head of BP apart for spending time with his family during the crisis, then justifies the same activity for the president himself. The hypocrisy of this administration is absolutely mind-blowing.

If you are correct then Obama approval should never drop below 50%. Since his approval rating has been below 50% for long time then you are wrong. Also remember that many of those who approve of him are too stupid and too lazy to vote.

"their president ought to have a little time to clear his mind."

A little time?

Eighteen holes with lunch and travel = six hours. MLB game plus travel = six hours. That's twelve out of forty-eight....25%. Now, how much did he sleep?
