"I think it opens a Pandora's box. I'm really concerned... this becomes a choice to die," says Father Goode. And shutting this Pandora's box may prove impossible.

And shutting this Pandora's box may prove impossible. Good.

If whoever wrote it is young enough, he or she lied. He or she did not choose whether to live after conception.

"My life my death my choice." Word. I believe this. I'd include God in my personal choice but I don't believe it's fair to impose His will on others. The courts, the state, the church and certainly not other FReepers should have no say in end of life decisions. It's a right I claim for myself and my family.

The following pro-life billboard was up on I-94 near Milwaukee this spring:
Picture has an adult human hand at the top, and a tiny baby’s hand reaching up to the adult hand, it’s entire hand wrapped around one of the adult’s fingers.
Billboard says “Take my hand, not my life”.

"My life my death my choice." Wrong.
We all belong to the One Who created us.
Which is why the right to life is "unalienable."
Unalienable: incapable of being repudiated or transferred to another
You can choose to play God - The LORD gave us free will - but you won't like the way the true God deals with idols in the end.

A close relative living in Dr. Kervorkian's neighborhood near Detroit told me:
"Everyone says that Dr. Kervorkian is doing wrong; but no-one wants to see him punished."

It's a right I claim for myself and my family. Then you don't believe in what the founders of this free republic held to be self-evidently true.

I don’t understand why the state thinks they should have an interest in the way an “adult” chooses to live or die.
People every day choose to shorten their lives by living unhealthy lifestyles. Should we regulate that too?
