Is it really so hard to type in Adm. Boorda on Google and click on the Wikipedia entry? Why should I have to put up a link at all? It’s OLD NEWS, and your SHITTY attitude needs an adjustment.
People who support lying and use flaky references like Wiki need an attitude adjustment. Unfortunately a character adjustment is in order too and that’s something you’ll have to do for yourself.

Elmo Zumwalt, who was the Chief of Naval Operations for part of the Vietnam War, said in an interview that he believed Admiral Boorda had been fully entitled to the two decorations in question -- two small brass "V" for valor pins worn atop rectangular ribbons that symbolize medals. The pins signify that a sailor was involved in combat operations.
"In my judgment, he was entitled to them," said Admiral Zumwalt, now retired, who was Chief of Naval Operations from 1970 to 1974. Admiral Boorda received the two citations for his service on ships off Vietnam in 1965 and from 1971 to 1973.
"When I was C.N.O., I certainly would have told him to wear it," Admiral Zumwalt continued. "This is a horrible thing. I think the man was absolutely innocent with regard to any intent to do wrong."

And? I could post a million links-what’s the point? Unlike you, I don’t have an axe to grind. Whether Boorda was entitled to wear them or not, no one in their right mind believes he killed himself over just this issue. Hackworth questioned his right to wear them and wrote about it, which isn’t a capital offense the last time I heard. There have been hundreds of these cases brought to light.

What accusation? Hackworth asked a question of Boorda’s service and you despise him for it. It’s not I who called him a liar.
He knew what he was doing when he asked the question just as you know what you’re doing.
