I do get impressed by cool architecture. The UAE guys are broadly idiots with their economic planning, but the one good result of the free spending has been some very cool buidings.
Like a fantasy land. No economic rationale but waaaaay cool!

I saw a tv show on how they built this.... decided to slap a helipad on the roof after the building was almost complete. They are spending a lot of money on some crazy buildings over there.
