In an unfortunate turn of phrase, the Turkish ambassador to Washington twice said Friday that the terrorist group Hamas is a necessary and important part of the "final solution" to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

And, of course, they are going to spin it as if it was an accident.

Yup.

By framing it as “An unfortunate turn of phrase..” The reporter seems to make is sound like it was a mistake. It wasn’t, and the muslims know it.

Ah, yes! The psychological slip exposing the underlying truth - kill all the Jews!

It was no accident. Muslims say that all the time.

Anyone who’s not mentally deficient with even a remedial grasp of 20th Century history, understands the phrase “final solution” especially in context of Jewish relations. It is beyond credible belief, that this man - a trained diplomat - didn’t understand PRECISELY what he was saying.

And there goes the legacy of Kemal. Looks like in Turkey it really is true that Kemalism is transient and Political Islam is permanent there, as that for many Turks is not only their most important identity but their sole identity.

Worst part? Our fearless leader is aligned with that “logic” and presents us on the world stage in his vision.

Finally a proposal that Obama will support with all his heart (what little he has).

The unfortunate turn of phrase is not particularly important. That they have sided with a terrorist organization, that is important.

We don’t negotiate with terrorists. Thats what we always say. So, does that now include Turkey?

Should that mean that Turkey has excommunicated herself from the League of Civilized Nations? Or does she do so knowing she has a friend in the White House?

I think she knows she has a friend in the White House. Or at least a weak simpleton which is just as good.

I think war is coming. I think the bad actors across the middle east recognize that this is their moment. They aren’t going to get a better one. It is ironic but not surprising, that the folks who voted Obama into office thought they were voting against war when in fact they were guaranteeing it.

I wonder if those, who whined when Congress passed the resolution a few years ago condemning Turkey (as the Ottoman Empire) for the Armenian genocide.....are still supporting Turkey now...still claiming Turkey is an “ally”?

Turkey is nothing more than another Islamic Terrorist State....and should be kicked out of NATO. Even the anti-Semite liberals of the EU are leery about Turkey

Freudian slip? muslims & arabs continually publicize the fact that they want to exterminate Jews and destroy Israel, in their media and their "educational materials" over and over again, and it's ignored by the rest of the world, who are too busy condemning Israel.

The Armenians weren’t slaughtered for being “Armenian”. They were slaughtered for being Christian.

“Tan’s choice of words aside, his comments highlighted the yawning gap between the positions of the Turkish government and that of the American and Israeli administrations,”

and that of most Arab administrations.

The Iranians are fairly quiet. Maybe they know a pr failure when they see one, which Erdogan certainly cannot see.
