Watching the replays of that last crash from various cars is just incredible.
I don’t think so.. he probably got shook up pretty good , I think he’s OK,, man what a ride!
A sponsor had to have supplied those big sunglasses, nobody would buy them they’re so ugly........
Those cars are built tough and are designed to dissipate energy as they shred and minimize injury.
The trackside medical center doctor says they will be flying Conway out but only due to traffic,, he has a leg injury requiring some work at the main hospital. He was alert and conscious thru the wreck..

A Scotsman (with Italian ancestry) would not take kindly to being referred to as “Irish!!!”
Cool. Do you remember years ago the crash where the guys feet and legs were hanging out of the front of a wrecked car who was that? it was about 15 20 years ago.

INDIANAPOLIS – Dario Franchitti drove 199 nearly flawless laps, then got a huge break from a spectacular crash on the last lap to climb back on top of the open-wheel world Sunday with a win at the Indianapolis 500.
Two years removed from his failed try in NASCAR, Franchitti held on with a scant tenth of a gallon of fuel left in the tank — a victory made possible by a crash that sent Mike Conway airborne on the final spin around the Brickyard.
"Still running," Franchitti told his crew over the radio as he crossed the finish line, ..
