I guess I am taking the long way by my previous statements to point to exactly what is wrong today in our government.

That is, real common sense leadership and action versus Dim / Libtard socialist controlled greed and corruption with the resulting 110% incompetence.

"Media organizations say they are being allowed only limited access to areas impacted by the Gulf oil spill through restrictions on plane and boat traffic that are making it difficult to document the worst spill in U.S. history."

Yeah, you just can't get away from the wall to wall coverage with all these TV anchors complaining and all the liberal papers with pages and pages of angry editorials. It was heartbreaking to see the mascara running on the tearful faces of Geraldo and Shep. A real bunch of crusaders we have there.

I agree. I think this is much, much worse than they are letting on. The news media have tentatively suggested that it might be, wait for it, twice as bad as Exxon Valdez.

I think the truth very likely is that it is mostly likely letting out that much oil every day. Most likely it is 40 or 100 times worse than Exxon Valdez. Most likely it will get into the Gulf Stream and contaminate beaches all around the Atlantic Ocean, from Europe to Africa.

That’s just my guess, because as usual the media are playing footsie with Obama. This is just a pretence that they are not allowed to investigate.

That’s what he told them, but what on earth is stopping them? More than 40 days into this disaster, and they are only now hinting that maybe the Coast Guard or somebody might be stopping them? Does anyone think they would have let Bush keep them out of the Gulf all this time, and never say a word about it?

Does this surprise anyone? IMO, it is just another way of spinning the facts by the Bozo administration.

“Chief Warrant Officer Adam Wine said White House officials had to sign off on requests for tours of the spill zone before they could proceed.”

If President Bush had tried to do this, the press would be in full meltdown mode. With Obama...it’s barely a whimper.

What would make you say that?

Oh, and I read this morning that the oil slick on top is not a representation of the oil in the gulf. Apparently there is 200 feet deep glob of oil under the surface that cannot be seen from the air.

Since the MSM has demonstrated its absolute loyalty to Obama, it needs to follow its orders obediently and shut up! /sarc
