“the award he had intended to list was given to his unit, not to him individually.”
That’s close enough for politics.

Hooray for the leftist morons at the commie WaPo for "looking into it" but this isn't the same as telling everyone that you served in Vietnam when you never went no where near the place.
On the Gotcha Scale, this rates about a .000001. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back. It isn't worth it.

Right, it’s all about them anyway and not about those around them.

I’m pretty sure I could tell the difference between a NAM and a NUC and not confuse the two in my personal biography. What a loser.

Why cant the GOP come up with someone to run for Senate in Illinois who can stay in the race?

How can one look up the military record online for any one individual.

There will be alot of mud-slinging before November, and that includes opponents bringing to light candidates foibles. The problem is that minor infractions will doom republicans, generally as they should. While, OTOH, major infractions will elevate ‘rats. ‘Rat voters either do not care, or consider the infraction a worthy distinction, or perhaps most common, a bonus because it increases name recognition just enough to put them over the November edge, but not so much that any ‘rat voter probes and drills the problem.

Rats consider lying about the military a badge of honor. They are the side who came up with the “baby killer” line after all.

I will never understand why these guys don’t just post a copy of their DD-214, minus the SSN. Let the form speak for itself.

You might if you'd ever read what was posted on the internet in your name.
Typical of so many bosses this guy seems to have never bothered looking at his own website. I've always figured they didn't think their websites were important to getting their messages out.
