“There was nothing wrong that was done,” Sestak said. “
******************************************************
If that is true (which I don’t believe) then WHY did Sestak even bring it up?

To get an advantage over Specter, slime him some (like Specter needs help)?

I think Specter could start raising some cane on his end...

They’re all corrupt as hell but I just want the truth, so I hope Specter throws a wild eyed fit!

This is all starting to sound like a Rush Limbaugh sketch. I can hear his Clinton impression in my head. All he needs to do is update the particulars.

Nah, getting rid of Old Joe is easy. Put him a circular room and tell him they need a bucket of prop wash and a five gallon bucket of backwater.

"There was nothing wrong that was done," Sestak said.

So if there was nothing wrong, why did he make such a big campaign issue out of it to beat the spectre in the dumbocrat primaries?

And more importantly, will this issue be big enough for Toomey to defeat him in the fall election?

My wife and I read a lot, and our public library is all the time wanting volunteers to work for them for free. So, I asked her if she was ok with me quitting work and finishing out my career as an unpaid volunteer for the library.

Do you know how she answered? She says I can go back to sleeping in our bed in about a week.

The obama administration has (at least) two major problems that have led and will continue to be the route cause of all their other failures.

1. The elitist obama administration think they're so much smarter than everyone else, especially us dumb people who vote at the polls. They apparently have a character flaw analogous to that of many professional engineers when they first become licensed and for which they must be counseled to guard against. I call it engineer-itis.

In getting their licenses, engineers normally must obtain a bachelor of science or equivelent in their appropriate field, and following that, must complete 4 years of documentable and appropriate experience, which must be witnessed and certified to by other professional engineers, after which they must successfully complete an 8-hour professional qualifications examination.

For many of them, once they become licensed, they somehow forget that being a successful engineer necessitates their continuing to perform the calculations and analyses the same as they had to leading up to their achieving professional status, so they shoot from the hip, not doing the work necessary to back up their decisions and recommendations.

This is what the obama administration has done time and time again: they've reached numerous conclusions on many issues without bothering to do the work necessary to make sure that their actions are sound. Witness the Arizona immigration issue, where several in the administration reached false conclusions without even having read the bill! (As obama said something like this: "i won the election, so i call the shots" - paraphrase from his actual statement). Most new professional engineers will learn that practicing their profession and expecting others to accept them merely on the fact that they're qualified will last for only a brief time. Those who don't get over their engineer-itis will not survive in the profession.

2. This one may be even more critical. It's the fact that even though obama and his minions have high level college degrees in their fields, based on their actions they appeear to completely lack even a semblance of an understanding of how actions in one area of our economy affect actions in others, that most things are very interconnected - there's no escaping that truth, no matter how 'smart' one is. This is evidenced by their complete lack of understanding of economics, that they seem to look at one element and think it will solve problems.

Hence, their conclusions that they can get adequate monies from the wealthy to solve all our problems, that cutting spending is not appropriate.

What they fail to realize is that the impact of multiple related actions have a multiplying rather than an additive effect.

For instance, the stimulus package, obamacare, automotive company bailouts, the planned cap and trade regulation, and amnesty for illegal immigrants represent 5 total negative actions towards the economy, or an additive magnitude of 5. But when these are taken together, in the extreme, it is conceivable that the negative multiplying effect of these actions, rather than being a magnitude of 5, could have a magnitude of 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5, or approximately 2 million!

Well, it is likely that the resultant impact will be much less than this, but it will also be much greater than merely adding the impacts together.
