LOL no lobster in the Gulf? Okey dokey. I fill my freezer every year August- November. Florida Lobster. Not Maine lobster. For the first time since I joined the attitude of many FReepers is really pissing me off. It’s not fine, stop pretending it is.

The Texas oyster beds, shrimp and fishing are fine.

I have a clue for you... they won’t be. 90% of it is down deep below the surface. If the eddy in the loop current closes off, it’s not heading toward me bud, it’s ALL heading for you.

You see so it works! I have a feeling that if they tried what I proposed it would work better than golf balls. Another thing they can try to do is insert a deep sea fishing net, then the Sham Wow, then add dried horse chips and then add the top kill mixed with human/horse hair.

Hmmm. Looks like they just repositioned the camera. I guess anything is exciting when you’re sitting here staring at those damn plumes!

+1. You can’t slam Obama for mishandling it on the one hand, and on the other hand dismiss it as “no big deal.” People are pissed at Obama, and rightly so. But that doesn’t translate into a win for the GOP unless they present some kind of alternative.

like a dog shaking a chew toy.An ROV is more like a butterfly than a dog, and it has no way to exert significant force on a fixed structure. It grasps onto a structure only to steady itself.

it is a BIG deal. It does not mean all offshore drilling should be stopped. BP was negligent and the Kenyan POS is an idiot and doesn’t have a clue what to do. After all BP is his friend. They are all panicking. Dispersants won’t hide it, it’s too big. We have only seen the tip of the iceberg.
