i hope the day comes for daley when he desperately wishes he had a handgun, but doesn't...Obviously the Mayor would prefer that the 80 YO man and his family be beaten, robbed and possibly murdered in their own home by a career criminal. The old man succeeded where his police force FAILED.

They say the a conservative is a liberal that’s been mugged. Given the number of liberals being mugged in Chicago it appears that they are in fact turning into conservatives (at least on this point). I would love to see Daley and his gang bounced out of office because of being on the wrong side of this issue.

Daley would DEARLY love to charge this guy with the hope of making an example of him by breaking him with attorney fees. HOWEVER, hundreds of thousands of dollars would pour in from around the nation for the mans defense and pro bono offers would come in round the clock. Daley is a thug, criminal, bully and outright BUM, but he’s not POLITICALLY stupid. No real charges will be filed.

I beg to differ. Police cannot protect you, they can only document your demise. You have to protect yourself and the Constitution and the 2nd amendment give you that right.
The Chicago gun ban is illegal under the Constitution.

If the 80 YO is charged, then so should every one of Daley’s Security Detail.
Da Mayor should know that if “the question” is a gun, then the only effective and lifesaving answer for the intended victim is a gun.
I have elderly relatives in Chicago. My aunt says one night several persons were pounding on her door in the middle of the night. She was only lucky they left. The relatives are not armed, however they are moving out of Illinois soon after living there for 50 years.
Mayor Doofus, one should not have to rely on luck to survive in your brutal city. I ignore his unconstitutional unlaw when I visit. The Constitution is the law. I will no longer have reason to visit ChicagoLand after my relatives bug out of that hellhole.
But HERE, guns WERE the answer! Has someone pointed that out to Daley?
