SESTAK CLAIMS WHITE HOUSE OFFERED HIM JOB TO QUIT RACE
In the face of a White House denial, U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak stuck to his story Friday that the Obama administration offered him a “high-ranking” government post if he would not run against U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania’s Democratic primary.
A White House official “vociferously” denied his account Friday as Mr. Sestak insisted on national television that he had told the truth, but declined for a second day to divulge details.
Mr. Sestak made his startling claim Thursday during the taping of Comcast Network’s “Larry Kane: Voice of Reason,” a public affairs show televised on Sunday evenings.
“Were you ever offered a federal job to get out of this race?” Mr. Kane asked near the end of the 30-minute interview.
“Yes,” Mr. Sestak answered.
In response to follow-up questions from the host, Mr. Sestak said the job was offered by the White House.
He also nodded when asked if the offer was for a high-ranking post.

This longtime Freeper and longtime Pennsylvanian sure remembers. I called Att'y Gen't Corbett's office this morning to encourage an investigation. It's a complete outrage that our Senate representation is manipulated so blatantly from DC. The staffer at Corbett's office told me that I'd have to put it in writing; they don't pass along verbal communications of this kind. She said - the office deals with law, and legal stuff needs to be in writing. Interesting.
I encourage all Pennsylvanians to turn to their state government to push for complete investigation of this stench.

But ultimately I think I would say something besides "white house official" to describe someone other than an actual white house official. I think someone that was an admiral in the navy would use the word "official" with a great deal of care.
I did notice on the news clips of Hillary’s rant about rich people today that she looked like hell....LOL! Her hair looked dirty and stringy and the bags under her eyes were practically touching her upper lip.
Team Obama just KO’d Hillary’s run in 2012....They are going to lay this mess at the feet of Bill and Hill....Smart,,,
