I agree. The Reps are still all hung up on gentile behavior habits and it is totally inappropriate in this situation. The people would rather they show BHO that he is such an affront to everything American that they wouldn’t even consider breaking bread with him. I certainly wouldn’t unless I could serve him a knuckle sandwich.
You disagree with my suggestion that Republicans should stand together and object to everything the socialists put forth. So your ‘aolution’ is what? To hope Pelosi and Reid turn on Obama?
The Republicans are a politically insignificant minority in both houses, effectively.
Their job is to return to their platform and start doing what they said they would do when they got elected.
If they regain their integrity, and if they appear sane, then they will be returned to power. Chances are they’ll abandon all of that minutes after receiving the keys to their offices, since the bulk of them do that anyway. At that point, there will be torches and pitchforks.
Aside from that, they are outside the calculus on this one. If Obama is going to be driven from power early, it will have to be democrats that do it.
Best the R’s can do is make the leaders of the junta look like patriots until they return to form as liberals, at which point you deal with them like liberals.
The only chance the party has to redeem itself is to shake itself loose from the Colonel.

Sen. Roberts just gave a textbook description of a narcissistic personality who has been challenged.

That’s one way of describing a tantrum.
