You can bet this will hurt recruitment in the South, Midwest, and Inter-mountain West - where most of our Soldiers come from.

This is another nail in our coffin.

I hope that someday there is a terrible vengeance placed on these quislings who would destroy our country. All those who support this in the Military (Gates and Mullen) may they rot in hell as well. Morally speaking, all those in support of this travesty are lower than Civil War Bushwhackers and Bandits.

This is nothing but a blatant attempt to do an end-run around the military’s study group on this which is expected to issue its findings in a few months.

It is an insidious effort to create a fait accompli.

This attempt has not been yet approved by Congress; and it should damn well not be approved. A vote is said to be scheduled for this week, maybe Thursday.

Please—please—please telephone your Congressional Rep. on this and tell them NOT to approve ANY change in the policy until the military study group completes its work and issues its findings.

Most Republicans hold that Don't Ask, Don't Tell has been working—and it has indeed. But the homosexual lobbies want OPEN homosexual-ism in the U. S. military.

This, for one thing, will destroy all our efforts to work with Islamic peoples in, yes, the war against terrorism.

Anyone here know what a rack party is?

Whe I was in the Army, it was called a "blanket party".
