Ditto about my two uber-RINO senators from Texas. The defenders of the Alamo would be ashamed of them, as am I.
Here’s hoping Sen. Sessions not only slows down confirmation, but stops it outright. It’s a Monday, I still have energy and optimism left from the weekend.

Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., the Judiciary Committee chairman, last week set hearings to begin on June 28. Sessions said Republicans would ask for a delay unless senators get access to the tens of thousands of pages of Clinton-era records by then
...but will they read those tens of thousands of pages, when most can't (or won't) read a 17 page AZ bill (1070) to see what is in it?

“In Before The Zot.” In this case, however, it was more of a nuking than a zotting.

Perhaps the papers in question ended up in Sandy Bergers socks and jock.

Sessions doesn’t have the votes. Shame doesn’t stop the Dems!
I agree with Barry Goldwater. I don’t want to ever know about whats someone does behind closed doors. As long as they don’t fund an agenda like in MA, I couldn’t care less.
Jim Robinson is protecting his franchise and Freep. Once the Dems determine its a hate site, kiss it goodbye.
So, focus on the issue and not sexuality.

Norm, you might get the FR title of most posts pulled in a thread!
Wait, I think the religion threads might have you beat...

“I don't believe that this committee can go forward with an adequate hearing” without all records from Kagan’s tenure as a White House counsel and then domestic policy adviser to President Bill Clinton.
“I don't believe” is the key word here my guess is that the hearing will go as planned and she will be confirmed. The republicans always huff and puff and just when you are rooting them on they cave. Everything this new Pres has pushed had gotten done. I know that Democrats are in the majority but things have gotten out of committee because of RINOS. I am a Negative Nellie when it comes to anything about the Demon and Chief that's right I called O a demon because I think he is

“We’re heading to what could be a train wreck,”
It’s comical to think how many Obama initiatives might have been preceded by this very same statement:
a) health care reform;
b) cash for clunkers;
c) porkulus;
d) cap and trade;
e) immigration reform;
etc. etc. etc.
Even after this administration is consigned to the dust-heap of history, there will be endless debates over whether this unending series of train-wrecks was deliberate (a crisis is a terrible thing to waste) or the natural consequence of electing the least experienced president within the memory of anyone living.

He Shoots ... HE SCORES!!
Kagan is the least judicially experienced nominee in a LONG time. She needs vetted ... she has a troubling hero: http://patterico.com/2010/05/24/elena-kagans-judicial-hero/ Great to see some spine found in the Senatorial cloakroom.

This is awesome! I hope I get to watch the Hildabeast’s head spin around a full 360. She is so protective of her files it isn’t even funny. Our military took less time to get to Bahgdad during the Iraq invasion than it took her to find “misplaced” files during her tenure as first “lady” of the US. I’m looking forward to seeing these files.
