Unless he is actually leaking privileged information via Twitter, the only thing the AG should be doing is leaving him the frack alone.
“If Cott spent the last two months ripping Corbett anonymously via Twitter it really doesn’t show much in the way of repentance for his ill deeds and it really doesn’t bode well for the sorry sack of pick-your-favorite-word-starting-with-an-s if he can’t figure out why he should be repentant.”
Is this what passes for logic? If it’s him, it’s bad for him, so let’s see if it’s him?
Are you Corbett by anyway chance? We should use your logic ask Obama for your IP. You certainly seem to have an agenda
Nicely played, old chap! Most elegant riposte seen on FR all week.

“Lèse majesté (Law French, from the Latin laesa maiestas, “injured majesty”; in English, also lese majesty or leze majesty) is the crime of violating majesty, an offense against the dignity of a reigning sovereign or against a state.
This behavior was first classified as a criminal offense against the dignity of the Roman republic in Ancient Rome. In time, as the Emperor became identified with the Roman state (the empire never formally became a monarchy), it was essentially applied to offenses against his person.[1] Though legally the princeps civitatis (his official title, roughly ‘first citizen’) could never become a sovereign, as the republic was never officially abolished, emperors were to be deified as divus, first posthumously but ultimately while reigning, and thus enjoyed the legal protection provided for the divinities of the state cult; by the time it was exchanged for Christianity, the monarchical tradition in all but name was well established...”
IIRC, years ago, the ACLU represented Rush Limbaugh when he was being crucified for so-called ‘doctor shopping’.
And to think I just voted for this bum.
You are indeed correct. Even a blind squirrel gets an acorn now and then...
Harrisburg is Chicagoland East.
Touché! Nailed 'im!
The state attorney general's office has issued a subpoena threatening officials of the social networking service Twitter with arrest unless they reveal the names of two bloggers who have been critical of Attorney General Tom Corbett and his public corruption investigation... The accounts have criticized Corbett's use of grand juries, suggesting he used the investigations for political gain and to go after political opponents.
Those of us who question the “timing”- wasn’t there a recent court decision that defined what a “journalist” is, and the definition did not include bloggers? That could be the main factor of timing.
Don’t care WHAT tag you hang on him — he’s doing the Devil’s work (or Obama’s...Or am I repeating myself?) — by ripping into the Constitutional rights of BOTH Twitter and those bloggers!

WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I JUST saw — in a later post, that the ACLU has JUMPED to the defense of the bloggers in this case... sniff, sniff, sniff...Something smells like horse hockey to me! Cow patties! Buffalo chips! This has GOT to be a FRAME that’ll fit a portrait over some bigshot leftist politicians mantle...
I’ll just withdraw my above, FIRST post on this subject and wait for the PA AG to explain HIS side — cause it don’t sound like what we’ve got from our “august defenders of freedom of the press” media has even begun to scratch the surface...
I really hope this is to stop an illegal leak...because it is NOT looking good.
