Sometimes I see Jackson or St. Louis and I live in Dallas.

Let’s hope we get a few competent reporters to do some candid interviews with these people now that the Feds don’t have them in deep lockdown.

I think we have some very fundamental First Amendment issues here, not sedition. Times Square is an act of sedition. The Fort Hood atrocity is an act of sedition. This was clearly not.

(most hilarious part of that whole pdf)

The Government argues that Sickles is the self-proclaimed leader of the Ohio
Militia. Sickles proffered at the bond review hearing, however, that the Ohio Militia has two members – one of whom is Sickles.

Sickles proffered a newspaper article in which the Police Chief of Huron, Ohio
said that he did not believe Sickles was a danger to the community.

I agree, there news is reliable for the most part, but sometimes they have some questionable commentators. And I do not like that they customize the source using your IP.

That was amazing reading..thanks for the link.

I have a cabin on a lake in Hudson Mi, so I hear everyone talking, and chuckling a bit because of who these guys are.

The "evidence" for the plan to overthrow the government included video of them burning a UN flag.

They burned a UN flag? That's proof that they aren't all bad.

The gov’t will do the same thing to them that it did to Martha Stuart. They will interview these guys multiple times until they can get them to make conflicting statements (about a non-existent crime) and then prosecute them for lying to a federal agent. If these guys are smart they won’t say a single word to the authorities.

It's likely when Napolitano and Holder had the FBI move in on the Hutaree.

Your assumptions were based upon a willing media gasping for “official” government statement about their “case”.
I was inclined to think they too were fringe, but if not violent, have a 1st Amendment right to disagree with our government. and a 2nd Amendment right to possess firearms and ammunition.

The government had to paint this militia as threatening, bad, fringe, looney, and every other form of degradation and the media, and their consumers loved the spoon feeding of BS. We still have yet to see prosecution of the government’s version of a criminal organization.

And we will never hear a retraction.
