They can’t.
MI allows only 150 University sponsored “Public School Academies”. Those charters have been snapped up long ago.
Now they are building with either, Tribe schools or Community Colleges sponsoring. Last I heard, we were up to 199. You won’t see Hillsdale sponsored Charters here, pitifully, unless the legislature changes the rules.
If you want to help to change that law, get in touch with MAPSA. The Michigan Association of Public School Academies. They are fighting to lift the cap.
That is an excellent strategic step to battle for the next generation.
Actually, no I don’t need you to research for me.
The question was, since you have come onto a thread about Hillsdale College sponsoring charter schools and put a big “Not good” with a link to a company that runs 85 schools, do you think that Hillsdale will choose that company? Since you know about charters and all.
Listen up, newbie. If you knew anything at all about Hillsdale, you would have kept quiet. I have been receiving their magazine “Imprimis” for 25 years. Obtuseness becomes you.
