Lets take this snippet from a New York Time article for example that Goldberg graciously provided for us in his article.

Is it a false belief as the New York Times say, or is it a belief supported by plausible evidence that Obama was born in Kenya?

"HONOLULU — The conspiracy theorists who cling to the false belief that President Obama was born outside the United States outrage many Democrats and embarrass many Republicans."

It possibly could be a false belief and the New York Times is correct, but their statement is not grounded in facts that have come to light to say "Birthers" are loons barking without evidence. Obama behavior by not being forthwith to the point of going to court to hide his past life is not helping any. And for one of the many examples of plausible evidence the Slime and many of the leftist loons choose to ignore.

This unambiguous statement that Obama was born in Kenya came from a Kenyan government official, the Minister of Lands James Orengo, on the 25th of March during a Kenyan Parliament session. So who are the real crackpots, us or is it the New York Slimes and who they support?

Granted. It would be interesting to see. But not something to base everyone's hopes on.

Anything which gets people to doubt the 'one', which gets them to do even a little critical thinking about what he says is a useful tool in the campaign to make sure he is a one termer.

For most, no, more like hobby prospecting. You hope you'll find the motherlode, but a few flecks of gold here and there are what really makes it worthwhile.

That some people do, well, that is how progress gets made sometimes. (Think Edison and the light bulb, over 600 tries!)

The issus keeps the opposition in a reactive, CYA mode very well, which only convinces more people that there is something to it all--especially when laws are passed and Executive Orders issued to cover up the very documentation everyone else is required to produce at some point in their life.
