Was she in the country illegally? ... Then she IS a criminal!
Sorry sweetie, you are.
Well she was a criminal.
The big question I don’t see answered is whether her parents are illegal also? I assume they are or were.
Spade’s a spade.
Um, well, DUHHHHHHHHHHHH!. Plus you gave a false name to the cops. Do not pass the Rio Grande, do not collect Food Stamps.
And, so? She turned 18 three years ago and could have asked to begin citizenship or be granted a student visa, but nooooo. As it is, she’s taking away a US citizen’s chance at a college education. That is a double slap against America, imo. Put her on the first bus south and don’t let her back across.
That looks like a tab of blotter.
Last I checked, I have to have a license to be out driving. She was 21, driving without a license because she knew she was illegal, and then complains when she gets caught? Seriously, these illegals have been coddled long enough.
The new ‘racist’ defense. Look for this to become common in the months to come. For some it will negate ANY wrongdoing by illegals. What’s not confronted is that there are illegal Hispanics, illegal Middle Easterners, illegal Asians, etc, etc, etc. Illegal is illegal.
I had a friend from great Britian who married a US citizen and then did not get her paperwork together. She has a social services call and they discovered she was illegal and she was deported. I felt bad for her because she had to leave her husband and three children but both she and her husband knew what would happen but never filed the paperwork.
A buddy of mine spent two years getting things to together so he could bring his Chinese wife here to the states. It was a lot of work but he did it and he did it legally. Those who don’t bother really don’t care. They expect special treatment as if immigration is an entitlement.
At the risk of being accused of picky pointillism, there is gross felony-flation evident in the charge of giving a wrong address to police. Remember, back when the nation had some sense, the class of “felony” was reserved to those crimes for which the death penalty was considered a worthy punishment. To do that for falsifying an address fails the laugh test.
BTTT
Do I even need to comment?
Get ready for many of these stories.
TOO long!!!
What I hate most about this is that because she’s making so much noise, somebody somewhere up the legal system will decide to make a point and she’ll be here forever. Worse, she wants to be a lawyer. Just what we need - another “civil rights” community-organizer lawyer.
Our daughter had to provide all sorts of “proof” in California to get in-state tuition, meaning she had to have a job, an apartment off campus, California driver’s license and more. We paid 2 years of out-of-state tuition before she qualified as well. And if she has her druthers she’ll be a tax-paying engineer and they’ll get their money back a few hundred times over. So how is this kid getting in-state tuition in a supposedly more conservative state??!
Just keep sharp objects away from your screen.
