Hey the day without Mexicans here in Vegas last year was great. If fact, we were hoping it would turn into the year without Mexicans.

At the school, my daughter was amazed at the number of kids in school for the day and how nice everything went. No fights or trouble for the day. Kids paying attention in class and actually getting to work since the teacher wasn’t playing babysitter and referee all hour.

On the streets the traffic was lighter.

Yea, it was nice.

Now if they had, “A Day Without Illegal Mexicans” I’d help them celebrate.

Same here. Have no problem with hispanic americans. These illegals are something else altogether.

How could we get them to try a “Month Without Mexicans” protest?

"...prominent law enforcement officials in the Valley have previously said they would never check for residency and become immigration police. To do so, they have said, would jeopardize other police work by making residents — some who are in the country illegally — afraid of turning to the police for help."/I>

I dunno, but this sounds to me like a win-win: if the illegals can't count on the state to take care of them, they might decide to try life south of the border again.
