I just get so sick of seing what a bunch of pu...er....uh sissies Americans have become. OOOOOHHHHHHH guns are scary. What are you a 5 year old girl?
I mean Americans started out as a bunch of serfs fending off wild Indians, holding down land for tyrannts thousands of miles away. We then rose up to defeat the most powerful military in the world. But, we didn't stop there, we deided to kill about 600,000 of each other before taking a short break. We turned the tide in WWI and saved the eurotrash's sorry ass in WWII.
DAMNIT, we're Americans, we are the only country that kicked out a foreign power and enumurated the right to BEAR ARMS to pevent the possibility of tyranny from occuring. We put a man on the moon just because we said we could. We're the greatest country in the entire world and some wold have us give up the aility to defend it.
One of the main reasons we haven't and probably never will be invaded by a foreign power......because AMERICAN CITIZENS OWN MORE GUNS THAN THE TOP 21 LARGEST MILITARIES IN THE WORLD. We bought, as private citizens, more than 14 million firearms in 2009.....and over 14 Billion (yeah, with a "B") rounds in ammuniton...... to what keep unloaded and locked in a safe so you're without it when you need it most?
Booooo freaking guns are scary. Good. Go find some labor camp to slave away in while your masters take car of you.
Indeed. Unless some substantial information has been left out or incorrectly reported, this guy acted inapproprately and he will now become the Brady group’s “Exhibit A” in their quest to prohibit CC in WI and to ban guns everywhere.
If I owned such a business, open carry would not be allowed within my place of business.
That being said, I am not sure an argument over a parking space, even against two criminals looking like they are ready to commit assault, is reason to shoot the person and the car.
Now if the person behind the wheel was actually committing assault with a deadly weapon by attempting to run Jesus Gonzalez over? Well then the use of equivalent deadly force would be justified, but I didn’t see “Gonzo” making that defense.
I think Corn was the second criminal who was trying to assult Gonzalez.
Given recent history though, Gonzalez is in a lot of trouble.
This is going to come down to “Better tried by 12 than carried by 6” and given the location, it may not turn out good.
How is a sincere criminal, trying hard, going to get ahead
in his profession if his victim fails to cooperate?
Almost all crime depends on the cooperation of the victim.
If the victim refuses his assigned role, the criminal is
placed at a disadvantage, one so severe that it usually
takes an understanding and compassionate judge to set
right.
LAZARUS LONG
“You give up your 1st Amendment rights, and I’ll consider giving up my 2nd.”
Of course WITHOUT our 2nd amendment rights, those free speech rights would ALREADY BE GONE!!!
Which is precisely why it should be done much more. There is zero reason for anyone to be frightened by a holstered gun on a private individual any more than they are by one on a cop's belt.
Where they were going to look at his stamp collection and compare their Democratic Registrations.
Nothing fishy at all....
Almost certainly the case.
Other posters have correctly rebutted the idiocy of your statement, but one thing should be mentioned - Wisconsin is one of two states (Illinois being the other) that have no method of Conceal Carry. Open carry is the only viable way to go about your business while protected in the state.
sadly in the responses from the posters here, we have a lot of ruby ridges and wacos to go before Conservatives will quit hangin guys for their appearances and msm reported motivations/actions...
“Many businesses, such as gas stations near the highway in bad neighborhoods, get robbed frequently.
If I owned such a business, open carry would not be allowed within my place of business.”
Why? Because a criminal willing to rob your place won’t just tuck a gun into their belt and put their shirt over it because that would be against the law?
Someone wanting to hold up a gas station is not going to respect their “No guns” rule. Only law abiding citizens are going to respect your rule. You’re only disarming the good guys.
“Awww snap, John, ain’t no open carry allowed in this gas station! Guess we’ll have to find another one to rob!”
Does the individual pull out his shotgun from behind the counter when he sees them going for their guns, or when they enter his store with the guns already displayed?
I don't think that as I business owner I am going to count on armed citizens being there at the same place and time and willing to act on my behalf as the armed criminals.
As such a business owner I would want either myself or my employee to be the only armed individual in that place of business, and any arms displayed by anyone would be grounds for having a shotgun pulled on you and that person being asked to leave either vertically or horizontally....... their choice.
Bingo....thanks for posting that! I was thinking along the exact same lines.....:^)
So, train the 911 operators to ask a few more questions. "Is the gun in his hand, or in a holster? Is he acting in a way that makes you believe he is a threat? Are you aware that carrying a firearm openly is legal in our state?"
They can still have the police follow up, but under less stress than simply "man with a gun".
Civil disobedience has a long history in the US and has often brought about changes that have benefited all. Killing someone while doing so is an altogether different kettle of fish. He has put himself in an indefensible position because the law against murder is constitutional. "I felt threatened so I killed him" is not going to cut it with the DA.

Booo!
In your honor, today, I am going to open carry at my Lowes store and grocery shopping.
Mass mayhem of all panty-waists to follow.
Do people get scared when they see a cop who is armed?
