Oh, very clever. But automobiles outside a bank are completely different from guns inside a bank.

Just the fact of a gun-related accident happening INSIDE a bank, the media would play that up and the lawsuits by those injured would damage the bank’s reputation and bottom line - I’m not kidding about this!

“It should be the problem of the person carrying carelessly, not the owner of the premises...”

I agree.

But lawsuits are about deep pockets and businesses protect themselves from such risks.

you bring up an interesting dimension to this one, art...

I wonder what currently masculine names will in future generations be more commonly assigned to girls...

There are already the examples of Jamie, Dale, Sam, Pat, etc which work for either one...maybe Sue will one day be a common man’s name?

now I wish I had a time machine...

Isn’t such commentary something called Dicta?

Setting up a point of contention that can be referred to by other Judges? Perhaps in order to establish some sort of case precedence for future disassembly of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.. the Right to Open Carry?

......”it is ‘great misfortune that dicta are taken down from judges, perhaps incorrectly, and then cited as absolute propositions.’ “

That would seem to indicate a deliberate strategy by one Judicial activist to set up the slam for another fellow traveler down the road.
