Only [McCain/Graham/Hatch/Murkowsi/Fiorina/Portman] can win. Shut up and vote. Party before principle. Party before principle, unless it's convenient.

How does moderation ensure success in a general election?

Moderation has nothing to do with it.
You have two candidates now. An R and a D.
The D is uber liberal and will vote to pass Obama’s Socialist agenda.
It aint rocket science.

The article is about Portman’s moderation and how it is hurting him in a general election, despite what we keep being told in CA.

looks like we are right back in 2006 where the mob here all said it was better to give the elections that year to the rats to teach the GOP a lesson.... hmmmmm that certainly has worked out well /s

looks like we are right back in 2006When the RINOs lost and then tried to blame their failure on everybody else?

I will stand by the factual observation if the majority is infested with the RINO virus...what good is it? You control the calendar. You control the committee chairmanships.
To: FTJM
When RINOs win, it’s proof we should support RINOs.
When RINOs lose, it’s proof we should support RINOs.

No when Freepers were all saying let the democrats win.... and they did... where did that get us? Pelosi and Reid, that’s what... and now with Obama the utter destruction of our country. Personally, I care more about my country... and in this case Portman is the ONLY Republican running so I would vote for him if I lived in Ohio.....which I don’t... thank GOD I live in Arizona where we still have sanity, no thanks to all the Californian’s who have moved here.
To: Arizona Carolyn
No when Freepers were all saying let the democrats win.... and they did The RINOs who lost want to blame their failures on maybe a half dozen Freepers? Their dishonesty is epic.

Yep, the article. But you deadenders have turned it into an insane plea to not support Portman against an uber liberal Democrat.
You changed the point, now you deal with it.
Anybody who doesn’t vote for Portman in the General is just a kook or a liberal.
