I wonder what store it was.

Good question . I wonder if they sell expensive clothing . I hope I don't see anybody walking with intent to spill bow hunters skunk scent on about $2,000.00 worth of tassel loafers and lawyer costumes . That could provoke a disruption .

If one can’t carry openly and one can’t carry concealed....then the judge is actually ruling that the Second Amendment doesn’t exist, isn’t he?

“If one can’t carry openly and one can’t carry concealed....then the judge is actually ruling that the Second Amendment doesn’t exist, isn’t he?”

That is exactly the effect that anti-gun fanatics want, of course. But, Judge Aldeman, being an accomplished sophist, might say: No, of course not, because if you can possess a gun in your home, suitably locked up, with the ammunition separate, so as not to present a danger to any children, women, or minorities in the general area, you are freely exercising your second amendment rights. Those are not infringements, they are just commonsense safety measures.

WTF? Disorderly Conduct is usually a reference to "Drunk and Disorderly."

At least in most states.

...You can get a fake anything, why not a law enforcement badge? That gives you the advantage of stopping anyone to rob them. Seems you are in a lose, lose situation, you can be shot be a legidimate police officer, or you can be murdered for your property by someone posing as a police officer...

Funny, that’s what Kagan seemed to say when she was taking about restricting freedom of speech to protect the government and society.

“It really DOESN’T MATTER if it’s disruptive, or causes fear, it’s legal and protected by the Bill of Rights.

The “fear” and “disruption” are caused by the guy who enters a store POINTING HIS WEAPON and shouting “ALRIGHT! EVERYBODY ON THE FLOOR! YOU! OPEN THE REGISTER AND EMPTY IT!!! NOW!!!

Is there any common sense left in this country?!

Not among “progressives”.

Substitute the words "firearm/lethal weapon" with Bible or placard and you see how biased (and poorly worded) this argument is against that one outrageous (/sarc) Right in the Constitution: The 2nd Amendment.

orderly Conduct is usually a reference to "Drunk and Disorderly."

It is also what nice prosecutors will let nice people plea to , when charged with solicitation and or indecent exposure . When you sit through an arraignment calendar of 50 very uncomfortable looking men who all plea to disorderly , the same time , same day , same park ,same bat channel , it wasn't a gang fight .

Kagan has some statements in her history that strongly imply exactly that.

>No reasonable person would dispute that walking into a retail store openly carrying a firearm is highly disruptive conduct which is virtually certain to create a disturbance.

Then I guess my open-carrying in restaurants & stores, which has never generated any disruption, makes it unreasonable for me to think that, given my past experiences, it wouldn’t cause a disruption.

>Well great now everyone can get a concealed weapons permit since open carry is disruptive and we have a Constitutional right to Bear Arms. Idiots

Actually, we should put that in the form of a resolution or bill and send it up to Congress with this ruling as supporting documentation.

After all, if Federal law trumps State and Federal law requires that people have the right to keep and bear arms and open-carry is disallowed because it is disruptive then every state MUST be a SHALL ISSUE state REGARDLESS of existing State/County/municipality laws.

>Seems you are in a lose, lose situation, you can be shot be a legidimate police officer, or you can be murdered for your property by someone posing as a police officer...

This is EXACTLY what the 4th and 5th amendments are supposed to prevent; especially the requirement for warrants.

The guy should conceal his weapon but wear a T-shirt that states, “I am carrying a concealed weapon. Don't tread on me

...I agree, but, if your in public, walking or driving, you can be stopped, and asked by law enforcement for ID, questioned about why your in a specific area, may be a place that is under surveillance by law enforcement for criminal activity. I'm OK with that, but, I object to being detained and questioned just because I'm in a surveillance area, without cause...

...There is a thin line drawn, and I understand it, but, I don't want to be presumed guilty if I crossed that line and didn't see the line...
