Incorrect. These idiots spend the vast majority of their time training. I've recently had to deal with joint Homeland Security and Illinois State Police training exercises. Everyone is ex-military and they don't like people who think for themselves. They may preach about freedom and security, but they provide neither.
This is the coming police state. Pretty Orwellian!
They found a small amount of marijuana (misdemeanor quantity).
I'd say that the woman and child were in far more danger from a bunch of jack-booted thugs in military body armor with automatic weapons firing off rounds at a caged pit bull and a corgi than they were from Dad.
The idea is to use surprise & overwhelming force to avoid nastiness that can develop when the subjects of a warrant have a little time to cogitate upon whatever evil with which they may be so inclined to respond.
Right. The guy who was smoking a little bit of pot is evil and the government thugs breaking down the door to his house, shooting up the place, killing the family dogs, and traumatizing the family are good and virtuous.
It looks as if they are looking for people who want to "kick some ass", not for law enforcement. These guys can't wait to exercise their authority!
Yep...
Administration looked at the circumstances, and arrest reports for the subject. And, coupled with the knowledge that he had a prior conviction, assessed the situation as requiring dynamic entry to ensure safety. An independent third party...the magistrate....agreed.
Independent, as coffee is to the pot?
Based on the info in the article, I'd betcha a cup of coffee it won't Whitworth that loses here.
In addition, a few more videos like this, and it will be law enforcement that loses even more support of the people.
That is something they *cannot* afford to lose.
