Merging Market Watch with Slate and other left wing sites is a great idea.

No way! That Australian that now owns the WSJ owns MarketWatch.com. Besides, as you already know... they were talkin about Newsweak and Slate, silly man.

Keith Olberdork will buy it for $1 and merge it with PMSNBC to create the important (sic) lefty “news” magazine to be called “PMS-Week”

The magazine is about 25 pages including 5 to 6 ad pages.

This should be a template to also kill TV. Cancel cable and sat TV.

It has no value. Business Week - same thing. Sold for like a dollar or something.

Just one year ago they made a big deal about their Spinal Tap-style downsizing of the magazine and refocusing it to a “select market” of hyperpartisan liberals.

But what are they selling other than the copyright to the name of the magazine?

Newsweek devalued the only asset they had — the name. They’ll get more than $1, but not much more. They should have sold it before the retooling.
