That is too true to be funny. We’ve had many ME friends over the years, and there is a tragic story associated with each family. And you wonder what friendship is? THey do not operate on the same rule book as we do.

I used to serve with a guy who was previously in a US Army psyops unit. He told me how their unit exploited the Muslim sense of honor in Iraq. If there was an area where insurgents where hiding, the psyops guys would insult them in Arabic over a PA system. The psyops guys would say things like, "Why don't you stop hiding behind your women and come out and fight us like men?" In most cases, the insurgents would come running out into the street with guns blazing, and would be quickly dispatched by US forces. I found it incredible that the Iraqi insurgents were that easily manipulated. He said they were 100 times more macho than anything I could imagine. He assured me that this psyops tactic was very effective.
Same way we reformed Japan and Germany.
