California, just like the rest of the country, could be reset if allowed to truly fail, crash and then be restarted under competent leadership devoted to Constitutional law and justice instead of social programs and wealth redistribution.

At this point, failure is a step or two from inevitable and the fight is to determine which operating system is used for the restart.

Yet "O" calls the Arizona Bill "misguided":

Obama says a failure to act will lead to more of what he called "misguided" efforts like an immigration bill in Arizona. If signed by the state's governor, the bill would require police to question people about their immigration status if there's reason to suspect they're in the country illegally.

Obama says he has instructed his administration to examine the Arizona bill to see if it violates people's civil rights.

He can spit in the face of a Governor who signed a bill that merely MIRRORS the Federal Law. And he expects the people to support HIS government?

It’s “wrong” to call these marchers anarchists, socialist, and communists even though they brought such banners and rioted on a Communist holiday. It’s divisive and besides the public might just wake up to who it was protesting against Bush’s wars for 8 years...

My wife and I love going to Santa Cruz. We have family in the Bay area, and we always drive south to Santa Cruz for a day on our yearly trip from Portland, OR. My kids love the boardwalk, and I just always feel very relaxed there. I won't let the kooky leftists who run that city ruin my experience, and I will continue to visit on our annual trip. Before we had kids, my wife and I used to stay at the Chaminade resort. Now, we day trip it from the city.

I remember watching a movie about the “Three Stooges” a few years back. It was a movie about them, and their careers together. Apparently, California was referred by people even back as far as the 30s and 40s!

There is a scene where the Stooges were riding up the coast in their big car with their families. They were riding up the coast road, after coming from the East on the train. One of them cracked a joke about being “in the Land of the fruits and nuts”! I laughed when I saw that, because I didn’t know that they called it that way back then!
