How the Convention on the Rights of the Child Will Destroy Family Sanctity

The homeschooling chickens are coming home to roost. THIS is why it is important to fight liberalism in the public schools. When you abandon the schools to the “progressives,” you allow them to indoctrinate future voters unopposed. Now there’s a UN resolution coming down the pike that will be passed by the representatives the public school students have elected. And you have no one to blame but YOURSELVES, because you abandoned the fight and cowered in your homes, all the while lambasting the rest of us who had the courage to fight. You’re getting what you deserve. Thanks for nothing.

Get over yourself, keyboard commando. If you are such a coward as to "fight the system" through the use of your children, then you have failed as a parent. You absolutely do not fight the evils of the public school system by forcing your children to experience them there. If you endangered your children that way then you deserve to have them taken from you into the hands of the state--since you've placed them there already anyway. I love how you reframe your laziness or perhaps inability to teach your own children as courage. You're pathetic.

I agree that government schools were corrupt and flawed from their start. But when I say “destruction of the schools”, I envision a bomb that has exploded. Just because in the 50s it may have looks fairly harmless and inert does not mean it really was, but it is fairly recently that the destruction became obvious.

I've wondered about that this rapid decay. I've concluded that prior to the early 60s there were still enough parents, teachers, prinicpals, superintendents, and school board members who personally knew the people who had broken the land as pioneers, tamed the wilderness....Or...They were people who personally knew those who were immigrants **before** there was welfare.

There is no such thing as winning any sort of a culture war while sending your children off to the enemy for indoctrination.

Our nation is now in the last stages of the “demoralization” that the former KGB spy, Yuri Besmenov, warned us against. Yet...it seems there is no rational and organized plan on the part of conservatives to “RE-moralize” the nation.

If we are to RE-moralize the nation we absolutely must SHUT DOWN the government K-12 government schools and get out nation's children into private conservative educational settings.

I suggest that conservatives start education foundations;

** The foundations would issue grants to individual teachers.
**The teachers would open one-room schools in their homes or small rented spaces.
**The foundations would test the students, certify the teachers, and approve the curriculum.
**The foundations would break the government monopoly on minor league, farm-team sports by organizing community-wide leagues with cheerleading, band, and drill teams.
** The foundation would organize community wide theater, musics and arts programs, and organize science labs.

In addition to the above the education foundations would organize the parents and community to oppose all government school funding, massive reductions in property taxes, and eventually complete SHUT DOWN of the government schools.

Is it possible? Yes, of course it is!

Colleges and universities have endowments in the BILLIONS. Harvard along has an endowment of $35 BILLION. And...I bet a lot of that money came from conservatives.

Imagine how different our nation would be if conservatives had endowed conservative K-12 education, instead. Our college classrooms would be filled with students able to defend their faith and our nation's founding principles. There would be vigorous conservative and Christian clubs, fraternities, and sororities. Their Marxist professors would wither before their righteousness.

If we started now, within 10 years we could fundamentally change the environment of our nation's colleges and universities. Within 15 years conservative young adults would be taking their place in academia, the arts, and other cultural institutions, Within 20 years we would have a RE-moralized nation.

If we wish to RE-moralize our nation conservatives **MUST** MUST** MUST** get out own children out of the government schools. We **MUST** close down the government schools and get out nation's children into conservative schools.

Tell all parents and family members, friends, neighbors and church members that a vote for the Democrats is a vote for all of these anti-family, anti-child, brave new world. Some Republicans are also guilty but for the most part it is the Democrats who are fiercely in the lead in all things socially radical.

The Democrats are being led by the nose by the most radical, far left members of their party. The Dems are the party of abortion (they can't deny that any longer), the gay agenda and everything that is anti-family. If they deny it they are hypocrites.
