At this time he is absolutely at the top of his game. I know he has the crowd enthralled. I tentatively offer it is almost like a pre-election speech. No way should he be underestimated. One of the themes is that there is so much unkindness and nastiness afoot these days. He brings in even little kindergartners as getting a bad example if they see and hear the news.
Oh yes, he mentions the "right wing opponents". Now he tees off again on dissent. He's clever. "The practice of listening to opposing views is essential" says the President. Perhaps he should mention the Arizona case and the hordes of "Nazis", that his supporters inveigh.
I am saddened by the awful disaster looming to the ecology. CBC Canada making hay by playing the Sarah Palin "drill, baby drill" speech. This while showing the slick. They never let a crisis go to waste, of course. I pray that something can be done. I don't care if it is a wacko liberal either that cleans this up. I just hope that it is resolved and the wild life preserved.

Head in the sand, they none of them seem to recognize that no governor or mayor has local authority, jurisdiction over the Gulf of Mexico; this one is a federal problem. I can hear them now, "Eh, whatever."
