President and VP. And the media knew who he was just as they knew that Obama was still smoking tobacco.

Bill Clinton told Monica Lewinsky that he would leave Hillary for her.
Guys will lie to get in a girl’s panties.
Jimi Hendrix and others told dozens of girls that a “song” was written about them.

I actually believe Liz was willing to look the other way or accept the lies for a chance to live in the White House.
Political parters, sorta like the Clintons.

My favorite quote that I often told my daughter many years ago is from Robert E. Lee: “Do not believe what the young men tell you”.
Love it, now did he know human nature or not??

John Edwards’ wife was aware of the affair. It wasn’t a sudden thing. She has claimed that she thought it was over. But she was willing to cover it up to get in the White House, as you point out.
The media blacked out the story to keep Hillary in a 3 way race for delegates. Whether the people at the Enquirer ran the story for personal benefit or because the publisher is reportedly a friend of the Clintons is beside the matter. The MSM knowingly covered up this story.
Mark Halperin at Time defends the action saying they didn’t have enough to go on. He also defends the coverage of unconfirmed rumors that John McCain had an affair with a lobbyist.
The media punked America in 2008. Welcome to Soviet Pravda style journalism.

Rielle Hunter: I was helping John Edwards find his 'authentic self' Absolutely believable.Every time you said "sure,I'm free" we saw the "authentic" John Edwards...aka:Father Of The Year 2004.

"Its not my experience that a third party can wreck a home. A home is wrecked before a third party comes into the picture."Sounds great for an excuse. But if true, then why not just wait until the party is divorced since the marriage is so bad. Then bed the guy.

It doesn’t matter how awful the marriage was, that’s not of her business anyway. The fact is he was still married and she’s a home wrecker. It would also appear a gold digger as well.

What should she have said-”I’m no cheap whore; this guy is LOADED”? Some questions are asked strictly for the entertainment value of the idiotic obsfucations. Everyone knows the real answer that we’ll never hear.
