“Mr. Soros argues that the U.S. should have treated the Sept. 11 attacks as a criminal matter, not an act of war.”
Very interesting information, jazminerose. For some reason this aspect of Soros had passed by me. I wonder if Soros’ opinion about how 9-11 should be treated is why Holder is insisting on trying the masterminds of 9-11 in a New York court. Soros pays; Obama obeys.

If I lived there I would re-record the calls to prayer and rebroadcast them via my own loud speaker systems (multiple, mobile, pirate, etc.) intermittently, along with Jimi Hendrix’s Star Spangled Banner, the Ramones, sound-effects, TV dialog, Tangerine Dream, and what every else caught my fancy. I’m sure I could convince them that “it’s not worth it”.

I threw it against the wall about half way through it. It was the worst garbage I've ever read. No comparison to Mein Kampf which I threw from my hands about three quarters through.

Was it ‘pro palestinian’? Or what was the problem?...In that case maybe I won’t waste the time. Mein Kempf...didn’t last in my house either. The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich is a good read.

George Soros will be all of eighty years of age this coming August. He probably thinks he can take his wealth with him. Alas, there will be those already planning what they are going to do with his wealth.
If greed is not his prime motivation in life, save being instrumental in defeating George W. Bush (his statement). He may be able to face his demise with dignity. I remember a short story by a Belgian philosopher on the death of a rich man, through the man's eyes. George should read it. (The Great Beyond).

It's a Leon Uris novel written from the arab perspective. If one doesn't realize that it's an indictment of what laughingly passes for arab 'culture' it's a tough read.
But it's not as good as QB VII IMO.
If you've managed to slog through Rise and Fall and want something a bit lighter, try The Gulag Archipeligo by Solzhenitsen.
Best,

Thank you Lurker. Considering your insight on the Haj, I may mosey into it anyway.

Mila 18 is an excellent account of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising by Uris IMO. He was a Marine who served on Tarawa and Guadalcanal btw.
Exodus is another pretty good one IMO.

Now that sounds extremely interesting. I’ve not read a detailed acount of that incident. Both sound like terrific reads. Thx again.

Excellent. I’m looking forward to that...we must keep pounding facts into the mindset.
