It is absolutely a reflection on me when cops are painted with such a broad brush due to a few bad cops actions. Like I say, you never read about the hundreds of thousands of positive interactions people have with cops every day. You read about the one cop who screwed up that day.

Jeez I just wish I could write what I have seen firemen do in my day. Ha! But I don't want to ruin the heros reputations.

Ha. Nobody writes about when people do their jobs correctly. So there is nothing to post. But I will be penning a vanity tomorrow. Stay tuned!

I have a brother who is retired from the FHP, he was a Major. Everyone except the newest recruits knew him, I think.
He was a great cop, although I don’t know any personal stories.

My late husband was a military cop. I know a few personal and interesting (positive) stories, but would have to think about them and remember.

My grandfather was a cop in Dexter GA, he was killed on the job. He’s on the county, state and national memorials.

My brother in law....he was a terrible husband....well, he was married to my sister, so maybe he never stood a chance. But I assume he was a good cop.

My uncle Glenn, two brothers, all cops in the AF.

I know good cops. Of course there are plenty. But there are also bad ones.
