I used to send money to the goa all the time until Katrina and I noticed the goa didn’t do anything about it. I then started checking and found they haven’t done anything of significance. I then started asking members of the goa what they have ever done on their own and never received a reply. The NRA and the SAF are the ones who have sued after the Heller victor. As I mentioned before, the goa was the only group who asked for the narrow view and since then, they have never had a single lawsuit. Nothing. If you have problems with the NRA then join the SAF.

I don't have a problem with the NRA, I have been a member since I was a boy(quite a few years)and I know all the things they have done for the gun owners of America. If not for them we would have disarmed back in the early 60s. I was merely curious about the GOA since I have seen people mention them here and have received advertisements from them in the mail.

I thought maybe joining two associations would be better than one. I will check out the SAF and see what they are about.

BTW, I think the trolls on FR frequently post negative ads about the NRA in an attempt to get members to drop out.

The left has nothing to do with driving a wedge between gun owners and the NRA. The NRA has been AWOL on many fights and actively pushed through the gun control ala the NICS improvement act, GCA ‘68, etc.

When was the last time the NRA tried to get the Brady act repealed? How about the Lautenburg amendment?

Do you think the NRA manufactures votes in their vote manufacturing factory?

What organization is hated most by the anti-freedom groups?

As usual 'ole shooter shows up right on time, spewing the same old story...

‘ole 2.5, the GOA hating NRA member…

Here is a thread where you spewed your typical, and not very enlightened, rant without listening to a word someone else says… Typical 2.5 whining rant about the GOA.

and here you are in another thread and using your typical whining rant with me… 2.5 gets the real facts and then gets caught in a couple of, well let’s say factual distortions.

...and after getting your butt severely kicked to the curb, you then resorted to distortions, twisting everyone’s words and then out right lying about your actions in attempting to defend your weak bias.

Many people have answered your stupid questions MANY times; you just refuse to see it. Point is if you can’t have an honest debate fighting a common enemy, then do everyone else a favor… stay on the sidelines and argue with yourself, don’t try to distort the focus of this fight.

Every 2A group, no matter what you may think of them should be WELCOMED to the struggle we are facing, many former NRA members, myself included, who definitely have no love for the NRA leadership have been going back into the group because the stakes are so high, don’t let your petty bias cloud the big picture.

AOV sends with warmest regards.

No one has ever said exactly what the goa has ever done on their own.

Not even you.

That is not actually the case...

The NRA has won many victories to include the current one where the House and Senate are loath to speak about Gun Control.

Nothing irrelevant about the NRA..

BTW nothing wrong with the NRA sitting back when a Senator or Conressmen says “those Gunners are crazy”. A smile and a look saying.. “well you would not listen to us” is very effective.
