Should have said handcuffed to the front gate..can the guard called me..there was a visitor..when I arrived to the guard house..a civilian man handed me his business card..Former Congressman Billy Hendon.
He sure kept us busy for a few days..lol. He never produced any evidence of POW’s being held. Just a lot of talk. We asked him to leave after the meeting and to return if he had any evidence. That is when he handcuffed himself to the front gate..(one arm).
there were horrific things that happened to our pilots after they crashed or were shot down...
To horrible for me to mention in this forum. It is in the record. Hopefully one day it will be released.

One time I was called by the vietnamese..to inform me..”tigers are active” in the area where an American team was digging at a crash site..it was the team leader decision to stay..or depart.. to the nearest town..they went to the town..
