Laws, laws, we don't need no laws, when we have Obama...

"The secretary can expand successful ideas nationwide without Congress's permission. " -- NO OVERSIGHT!

We better elect a Republican Congress in Nov 2010!

The secretary can expand successful ideas nationwide without Congress's permission.

Exactly like the EPA passing carbon rules and setting EPA standards.

Got to be stopped.

It’s government versus the people.

Don’t they mean putting this in effect “faster than the law Allows”?

But Mr. Obama has urged advisers to consider moving sooner to set up an Independent Payment Advisory Board for controlling Medicare spending.

The Payment Advisory Board discovers how to control Medicare spending.

"The secretary can expand successful ideas nationwide without Congress's permission. "

This statement is effectively true. Congress has already granted it's permission for the HHS Secretary to do anything she wants to do. Just wait until she releases the mandate that all insurers must cover abortions. Basically, Congress already signed off on this, and it will require passage of another law to overturn it. And there is no way that is going to happen with Obama still in office.

The real plan after the blue smoke and mirror act regarding cost savings is over to get the basic legislation passed. Now cost doesn’t matter any longer, just bringing care to the children.

One of many outrageous excerpts:

Ms. Sebelius has begun work on the first of what will be numerous regulations for Medicare, Medicaid and private health care providers. Within her department, she has reorganized the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to make room for an innovation center intended to test ways of reimbursing providers that could reduce spending while improving patient care.

The secretary can expand successful ideas nationwide without Congress’s permission...

“After Health Care Passage, Obama Pushes to Get It Rolling - “faster than the law requires”

If only Obama could be (or could have been) that fast with:

-Developing a war plan for Afghanistan (of course, what’s six months when you’re not the one who’s putting your life on the line 24-7 over there?)

-Forming the High Risk Threat Assessment Team (or whatever it is supposed to be called) that was supposed to be available for interrogating guys like The Underwear Bomber. A team which, IIRC, still exists only on paper.

-Deciding where KSM’s trial is actually going to be held.

-Asking Eric Holder why the Justice Department dropped a voter intimidation case it had already won against the New Black Panthers.

Sorry Barry. Even you can’t put this in effect before the new Congress takes control next year.

He wants to get as much in place as he can before the November elections. To make it as difficult as possible to deconstruct. Lord, give us the strength to stay focused until November.

Mr. Obama, whose legacy will be shaped less by the law's passage than by how well it works...

Pbbbbbbt! Yeah. Let that thought comfort you while your treatment "options" are being weighed by The Great and Wonderful Ob's health care bureaucrats.
