Schools shouldn’t be wasting tax dollars on laptops. Problem solved.

And someone thought I was crazy to cover my camera and then this came out. I had told them that I didn’t trust that it couldn’t be accessed remotely. There ya go!

The system that Lower Merion school officials used to track lost and stolen laptops wound up secretly capturing thousands of images, including photographs of students in their homes, Web sites they visited, and excerpts of their online chats, says a new motion filed in a suit against the district.

More than once, the motion asserts, the camera on Robbins' school-issued laptop took photos of Robbins as he slept in his bed. Each time, it fired the images off to network servers at the school district.

Back at district offices, the Robbins motion says, employees with access to the images marveled at the tracking software. It was like a window into "a little LMSD soap opera," a staffer is quoted as saying in an e-mail to Carol Cafiero, the administrator running the program.

"I know, I love it," she is quoted as having replied.

Close the government run schools now. Too much of culture of corruption. Shut them down. The public cannot afford the civil rights cases that are coming.

Apologise to the innocent ones and ARREST the little brats that stole them. These are CHILDEN under 18 and have very few rights granted by the Constitution.

Yep, I was especially irked by “It’s a mini soap opera,” and “I know, I love it.”

Sick.

EXACTLY. I am so sick of schools whining about how they have "no money" but they have plenty of money for this kind of crap.

Since when did being a child abdicate God given rights afforded under the Constitution?

There are all sorts of hacks where people try to do just that. If it is in your computer, someone will try to access it remotely.

It’s beyond the content of the images, it is akin to wiretapping.

Any pictures of the kids naked or partially clothed? Maybe the school and administrators can be hit with charges for possessing and distributing child porn.

There are no depths to which liberals will not sink.

Given that school boards are completely liberal - we’re talking deep here.

When are we going to admit that a degree in education completely disqualifies the holder from any respect - honor, and integrity?

It’s private schools, folks.

Period.

Since the photos were taken in the bedrooms there is a 100% chance that there are naked photos. I suspect a hired hand stole the laptops to destroy the evidence.

The material disclosed by the district contains hundreds of photos of Robbins and his family members - "including pictures of Blake partially undressed and of Blake sleeping," the motion states.

Apologise to the innocent ones and ARREST the little brats that stole them.

Exqueeze me?

APOLOGISE to 12 to 15 year old naked girls and boys that were photographed by these cameras?

APOLOGIZE that a pedophile is yanking his ox to these images?

APOLOGIZE??!??!??

These are CHILDEN under 18 and have very few rights granted by the Constitution.

THAT is INSANE.

1st: You are not granted rights by any document. You are, by virtue of being alive, naturally in possession of rights.

2nd: Age has ZERO to do with those rights, foremost among those being Life, Liberry and the Pursuit of Happiness.
