And Al Gore was a key influence on the work of the Unabomber. What’s her point?

Anyone who has read any of Tim McVeigh’s writing knows that he would have been far more comfortable at an ANSWER rally than a tea party.

"When Members of Congress compare health-care legislation to government tyranny, socialism, or totalitarianism in the hopes of scoring political points it's like pouring gas on the fire of extremism," McCollum said. Well, maybe. But it's also telling the truth.
To: reaganrevolutionin2010
I notice MSNBC is running a Maddow special with McVeigh interviews. They are doing their best to associate him with Tea Party members. That’s all they got. Seeing as how there have been numerous Tea Parties and no violence, I think they are wasting their time.

McCollum said. "In the most free, prosperous and greatest democracy on earth it is time to return to a civil, decent debate of public policy." Should've spoken out AGAINST Code Pink, ANSWER, Communist Party USA, the illegal immigrant rallies, etc. when you had the chance.

saying incendiary words from members of Congress were inflaming tensions that could provoke another incident of Oklahoma City-style domestic terrorism.
Incendiary words?
Ummm, no. Their votes are what 'inflame tensions'.

That article title is wrong. Should have said, ‘Idiot compares Tea Party to Al Quada’.
They are the ones with the inflammatory rhetoric and the thugs to intimidate. These people are terrified.

"The members of this House Democrats and Republicans have a duty and an obligation to end the dangerous name-calling that can only inspire the extremist militias and phony patriots," Really? Then can the dems stop calling me a rich, white, over 45 year old, redneck because I agree with the Tea Party? How about you stop calling me racist because I don't like Obama? I mean... it couldn't possibly be that I don't agree with higher taxes right? No... I don't like him because... He's black?
And as far as domestic terrorists... LOOK AT THE GOVERNMENT! Our own government is the best example of domestic terrorism.

Democrats are the most uncivil bastards this country has seen.
The attack on Bachman alone is uncivil.
According to them everyone who opposesm high taxes and the takeover of business is a racist terrorist.
This is not new the left has always thought of most Americans this way.

The very idea of constitutional government makes these people lose their minds.
The only acts of violence being committed are being committed by DNC and the Left.

Of course when Al Gore literally screamed that “George Bush betrayed us,” he was simply speaking to the better angels of human nature. Nobody would ever take what The Great Fulminator said as being incendiary. And when various liberal Black and White speakers called Bush a racist after Katrina, that was not in the least provocative. Hypocrites all.

When liberals scream for violence, that’s just free speech. When conservatives hint that the government is exceeding its charter — a protest with a venerable and respected history in this country — they are advocating terrorism.
No double standard at work here.
