The Repubs better remember that they are an endangered species (or perhaps endangered critter would be a more apt description). I feel more empathy for a rat than I do for the vast majority of things currently infesting Washington.
Either they repeal this, or they reap the whirlwind during the revolution.
And that - sirs - is indeed coming if we don’t kick out the loon, his minions, and the brain f*art called the health bill.
It’s amazing how many Rs don’t have a backbone. They better get the message. It’s repeal, not amend.
Love this transparency! Keep talking we’ll know who to vote for in November. This bill needs to be repealed. period end of story.
The Republicans are about as likely to repeal healthcare as they are to tax abortions.
Note to the GOP: It doesn’t goddamn well matter what you want. WHAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANT IS FOR THIS POS BILL TO BE COMPLETELY, UTTERLY REPEALED. If you’re not willing to do it, we will fire you and replace you with someone who will.
Lead, follow, or get out of the way.
Without 2/3 of both houses (to override a veto) a repeal isn’t going to happen.
It is VERY unlikely that they will have 2/3 even after Nov.
They *might* get 2/3 in the House (but even that is unlikely). But they won’t get it in the Senate - even if they win every Senate election.
Well, the Washington Post and those of their ilk certainly hope the Republicans lose their nerve. So why not attempt to move the “storyline” in your direction by reporting what you hope to be the case as if it were news?
Rasmussen polls say “Hello!”
"Support for Repeal of Health Care Plan Up To 58%"
It’s very hard not to conclude the country is lost.
Obama’s propaganda machine at work ... create fear, uncertainty and doubt. Oldest play in the book ... Don’t take this article seriously, I think the Republicans know they have to overturn this monstrosity.
Hah. They ain't got a single nerve between 'em.
Well, okay, maybe they have one nerve. But they have to share it between forty-one Senators.
Republicans cave? no way.
You know, here in Illinois we don't exactly have a whole lot of choices in the U.S. Senate race for Obama's old seat.
We've got a corrupt State Treasurer who as Loan Officer at his daddy's bank (Broadway Bank) loaned tens of millions of dollars to mobsters and laundered countless other millions of dollars on their behalf, and we've got Mark Kirk on the Republican side.
Kirk vowed on WLS Talk-Radio in Chicago after "ObamaCare" passed to work to repeal it in whole. Now he's backing off that? I've made my fair share of calls to Kirk's office cajoling them that he'd better move to the right on key issues, but it seems the milquetoast is once again moving back to the left, and at this point I can't even "hold my nose" while voting for this POS.
Enough's enough, no more G.D. RINO's. Looks like I'll be voting third-party (again) this year after all.
Repeal WILL happen.
We stop funding for 0bamcare after we take control of the congress in November, then repeal 0bamcare after we kick the Kenyan Marxist out of the White House in 2012.
Meanwhile, public support FOR repealing 0bamcare hit the highest level ever today:

0bamcare is a dead man walking.
Weak RINOesque talk.....the GOP better get some backbone and get working on a repeal....or real conservatives will go third party
Kind of my read on this article also. The Dem water carrying Washington Post will do whatever they can to help their 'team' (America destroying socialists)...
Not that I'm ever impressed with the jelly spined republicans - but in this case I think the Washington Post is just blowing smoke...
There was never any nerve to begin with. Name me one time the Republicans haven’t backed down in situations like this!!!!!!!!
