True. However, the only one that payed any consequence is the self killer. He did not have to make that choice. It’s a piss poor permanent solution to a bad day.

I don't think so. His friend, according to the report, is "devestated". Presumably his family are in a similar state. We are none of us an island (john donne). This is one reason why suicide is a crime. Your life is NOT yours to take. Everyone you know has some stake in it as well. It is a gift that you hold in trust.

And personally, if I was involved in the process whereby this man saw suicide as his only way out, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. I suspect the liberal thought-police, who seem to believe the end justifies any means, are able to innure themselves against that.
