Don't know whether I can use an excerpt from Reuters so I just used the two bullets at the beginning of the article. Bibi's stated reason for opting out of Obama's little peace fest is exactly what I thought of when I saw the earlier articles about this. He is smart to stay home. He's a smart guy :-}.

I am glad he is not attending. Anyone from the Israeli government should not attend.

I wish the USA was not attending.

General Jack D. Ripper: Mandrake, do you recall what Clemenceau once said about war?
Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: No, I don’t think I do, sir, no.
General Jack D. Ripper: He said war was too important to be left to the generals. When he said that, 50 years ago, he might have been right. But today, war is too important to be left to politicians. They have neither the time, the training, nor the inclination for strategic thought. I can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration, Communist indoctrination, Communist subversion and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

From article: “The prime minister has decided to cancel his trip to Washington to attend the nuclear conference next week, after learning that some countries including Egypt and Turkey plan to say Israel must sign the NPT,” the official said.

Maybe his deputy could get the blue flu when he arrives for the conference.

President Merkin Muffley: Gentlemen, you can’t fight in here! This is the War Room.

At this point, his fears are justified.

Good. Why should he expose himself to further humilitation by Dear Leader, much less be a party to a policy that will without doubt, sooner rather than later, lead to the blow-up of the middle east? He shouldn’t even send a rep. “Obama’s little peace fest” (nice phrase) is more likely to lead us to war than anything we’ve ever done. Ironic, as gross stupidity so often is. God bless and keep Israel.

But look at Bibi. He looks like he’s smelling something bad (and he is).

They can't walk out if not in attendance.

Gosh that picture is infuriating!

My mother would slap my hand anytime I tried to point, it’s such bad manners!

Pointing and his other hand crammed in his pocket— he looks like he’s standing around on a college campus shootin’ the chit, not the leader of the greatest nation!

Obama is lucky Netanyahu has class and didn’t slap his hand for behaving like an unmannered man-child.

This is as bad as the street shake he gave Chavez.

Can’t he TRY to exhibit some decorum?

This is an intentional display of arrogance and intimidation. There is no interest in decorum or class...this is a well orchestrated performance. God help us.
